Central American Resource Center

The Central American Resource Center provides low cost, high quality legal representation for low-income Latino immigrants fighting deportation proceedings. They emphasize securing the economic well-being of families by helping immigrants legally remain in the US.

Centro Legal de la Raza

Centro Legal de la Raza is a nonprofit based in Oakland, CA that helps connect low-income immigrants facing removal proceedings with pro-bono legal representation. Centro also is involved with political advocacy and runs an immigration hotline where ICE activity is tracked and immigrants in need can receive legal representation and resources.

Freedom for Immigrants

Freedom for Immigrants (FFI) is an Oakland-based, national organization that visits and monitors 43 immigration detention facilities to gather data and stories to challenge the treatment of individual people and the system-wide injustice in immigration detention. FFI also runs the largest national hotline for detained immigrants.

Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto (CLSEPA)

CLSEPA provides legal defense for removal process, assistance for refugee and asylum seekers, and humanitarian relief for immigrant survivors.

Dolores Street Community Services

The Dolores Street Community Center provides deportation defense, legal services, and advocacy for low income and otherwise disadvantaged defendants facing removal proceedings. They attempt to make San Francisco and the Mission neighborhood a more just place for people victimized by ICE.

East Bay Community Law Center

The East Bay Community Law Center provides a range of legal services to low-income immigrants – focussing on the most vulnerable populations.

Immigrant Family Defense Fund

The Immigrant Family Defense Fund connects Oakland Unified School District Families with legal service providers in the Bay Area and helps cover legal fees and bond costs.

Pangea Legal Services

Pangea Legal Services advocate on behalf of immigrants through policy advocacy, education, and legal empowerment efforts.
